Recruiting is underway for spring break in Costa Rica

Students earn credit in a SOC-B399 course on sustainable development.  It’s been a great way for Spanish students, especially those who can’t get away for longer, to take their Spanish out of the classroom and into a real life setting as they navigate homestays and life in northwest Costa Rica (where English is not the norm as in more touristed parts of Latin America).  For students in Sociology and Anthropology, and related areas of study, it’s a great way to experience another culture while exploring the challenges of building a more sustainable society.
