Students translate French poetry & win a prize that recognizes their work

Students in Anne Magnan-Park’s French class (F363) participated in Undergraduate Research Conference at IU South Bend this year. They presented their own literary translations and analyses of 19th and 20th century French poetry. Quest Pickens and Justin Bryant shared the first prize in the Creative Arts category.

Sharon Brinker, Judith Benchaar, Justin Bryant, and Mackenzie Jarvis will participate in the bilingual readings at the American Literary Translators Association in October. This national conference will take place in October. Wish them good luck!
